MARIE-EVE
of the MAHL FAMILY
Engineer who pivoted into management consulting, where she now spends most of her time helping service-sector companies that have run out of obvious ways to make the numbers add up. Grew up in Strasbourg, lived a couple of years in Denmark, and during the heavier travel years was basically working from whichever European airport had a flight out at six in the morning. Started her consulting career at Wavestone and is now at McKinsey. A practicing Christian who reads a lot of philosophy and theology, with a long-running soft spot for Jean-Luc Marion and Søren Kierkegaard. Off the clock she runs on lattes, gallery visits, and long one-on-one conversations with the people she cares about.
dear reader (and in fact, dear friend),
strasbourg first, then a couple of years in copenhagen, then a long stretch where the office was whichever european airport had a flight at six in the morning. these days the suitcase moves a little less, the conversations go a little deeper, and the bookshelves keep slowly bending under marion, kierkegaard, and a few good novels on the side. lattes, museums, and long one-on-ones with the people i love fill in the rest.
love,
